McNabb Flooring Solutions gave $3,000 in support of improvements to the hospital's mammography service. Owner, Butch McNabb presented a cheque at the end of December. This is the eighth consecutive year that McNabb Flooring Solutions has given a major gift in support of the hospital!

At its December 19th meeting, the Kemble Lions Club donated $2,000 towards a new tissue processor needed in the Lab. Carol Barfoot (Santa hat) presents a cheque to Willard VanderPloeg of the Foundation.

The Owen Sound Eastside Snowmobile Club designated the proceeds of its Georgian Cup Snowcross held Dec. 7th 2010 to Paediatric care at the hospital. John Kreuzer, OSESSC President & Co-Chairman, left and Peter VanDolder, OSESSC Co-Chairman, right, present a cheque to Paul Weitendorf, Executive Director of the Foundation.

VitalAire donated $1,000 in support of the Foundation's Christmas Angel campaign. Allison Bojanowski, Territory Sales Representative, presented a cheque to Paul Weitendorf.

Georgian Bay Fire and Safety Ltd. of Owen Sound shareholders held their annual meeting recently and presented a donation of $1,000 in support of the mammography campaign for the hospital.

Branch 6 - Royal Canadian Legion, Owen Sound President Bob Griffith, left presents $7,500 to Foundation Executive Director Paul Weitendorf. The gift supports the purchase of six new ECG machines for the hospital.

Every September, Tim Horton's stores hold their "Smile Cookie Week" fundraiser in support of local charities. Owen Sound stores designated the proceeds to Paediatric care at the Owen Sound Regional Hospital. Store owner Fay Harshman, right presents a cheque for $7,690 to the Foundation's Willard VanderPloeg.

Rick & Pam Monk represented the Elmwood Chamber of Commerce at the Clubs & Organizations dinner held October 20. The Chamber presented $500 in support of the Mammography campaign.

Diane McLeod, 1st Vice President and David Millican, Director of the Scenic City Lion's Club, Owen Sound present $2,000 in support of the Foundation's Mammography campaign at the recent Clubs & Organizations dinner.

Sauble Lodge #227 gave a $500 donation for Mammography at the Clubs & Organizations dinner held October 20th at the Hospital. Don & Lorraine Catto present the cheque on behalf of the Lodge.

Branch 464 of the Royal Canadian Legion (Chatsworth) presented a $500 donation to the Foundation. Members Ed & Dixie Dupon represented the Branch at the Foundation's Clubs & Organizations dinner.

Linda Andrews and Margaret Esplen present $100 to the Foundation's Mammography Campaign on behalf of the Burgoyne Women's Institute.

The Hepworth/Shallow Lake Legion, Branch 586 gave $1,000 to support the purchase of medical equipment for the Regional Hospital. Foundation Chairman Mark Ostland, centre accepts the gift from Legion members Bill Vanstone and Joyce Murphy.

Race Director Greg Nicol, left and Signature Sponsor Jeremy Wentworth- Stanley of CIBC Wood Gundy, right, present $22,000 in Bayshore Race proceeds to Foundation Chairman Mark Ostland. 405 runners and walkers particpated in the 2nd annual event held August 28th.

Stonetree Golf Club ladies members held a golf tournament on June 1st with proceeds supporting new mammography equipment for the hospital. Presenting the cheque, l to r are: Joan Forsyth, Anja Pieper, Julie Sinclair, Lois Green, Pauline Manson, Robyn Martin and Cindy Wilson. $5,580 was raised!

Gore Mutual Insurance recently supported the Foundation's Mammography campaign.  Gore President, Kevin McNeil, left and Rep, Cyrus Taghizadeh, rear presented $5,000 to GBHS President & CEO Maureen Solecki, centre left, Director of Diagnostic Services, Anne Robertson, centre right and Foundation Vice-Chairman Doug Grahlman.

 

Carruthers Nicol Insurance & Investments donated $5,000 to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation for new Mammography equipment to help fight breast cancer in Grey Bruce!  Presenting the gift for CNII are (l to r):  Ana Mendonca, Flesherton office, Krista Holtby, Kincardine office, Kristy Beck & Lisa Nicol Kerr, Owen Sound office, Diane Bailey, Port Elgin office and Pamela Davis, Wiarton office.

 

Royal LePage RCR Realty presented $2,200 in support of new, digital mammography machines for the Owen Sound Regional Hospital.  Presenting the cheque from left to right are:  Wayne Lambkin, Gord Mepham, Ellen Crymble and Paul Annett.
