Dear Friend,
I am writing today to ask you to help people in Grey-Bruce who are facing a health crisis. People like
Shannon. You’ve likely never met her, but chances are you know someone like her.
She’s an elementary school teacher and mother of two young adult daughters. Just one week before Christmas, she was diagnosed with cancer. At the time, her husband was recovering from a heart attack. If that wasn’t enough, now she was facing the most serious health crisis of her life.
Fortunately she had a positive outlook and a loving, supportive family. She also had a Hospital she could count on and the support of a generous community. The advanced medical equipment that donors helped to purchase was there to support her throughout her ordeal.
Her cancer had been detected early, thanks to a routine test. In the course of a year of surgery, chemotherapy and many diagnostic tests, medical equipment helped many healthcare professionals to provide the best care for her. She is now cancer free!
Help turn Crises into Miracles

treatments and turn many crises into miracles.
This holiday season I hope you’ll help our doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals, by supporting the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation’s Angel Campaign. You’ll be helping us to provide the best possible medical care for patients from throughout Grey-Bruce.
This year we need new equipment in the Diagnostic Imaging department, Lab and Women and Child Care Unit. Many will be helped, including those who come to us from Grey-Bruce and beyond with cancer and heart problems.
We’ll send you a charitable tax receipt for your donation. We’ll also honour you or your loved one, with an ornament on our Angel Trees and Honor Rolls
at the Heritage Place Shopping Centre and in the Hospital Lobby.
