“After my hip replacement in October, staff and nurses were the best. Thank-you!”

John V

“The hospital has been there for my family and I want it to be there for many more.”

Carolyn and Robert R.

A new nurse call system will benefit thousands of patients a year.

As some of the busiest staff at the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation, our nurses provide direct care for thousands of patients with a variety of medical challenges and needs every year.

A nurse call button acts as a lifeline for patients, providing an accessible and easy way to signal for assistance and support with the simple push of a button. For patients experiencing pain or discomfort, or for those finding themselves unable to speak, a nurse call system is a vital form of expression and communication.

But our nurses call system is nearing the end-of-its-life. We urgently need Guardian Angels in our community to help us purchase a new nurse call system before the end of the year to keep up with growing patient needs.

Your gift today will greatly improve patient care and safety, and support better care coordination for years to come.
